About Katharyn Blair | K.R. Blair

Katharyn Blair was ESE on Loki: Season 2, where she was the supervising writer on set in London and co-wrote episode 4: The Heart of the TVA. She was also an ESE on Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again and a consultant on Fantastic Four: First Steps. Her debut YA novel, The Beckoning Shadow (HarperCollins) earned starred reviews from Kirkus and Publisher’s Weekly. Her follow-up YA novel, Unchosen, earned similarly great reviews in January 2021. Her debut adult novel, The Hushed (Blackstone) came out in September 2024, with a short story, Deadlanders, following in the Shadow Lab: Volume II collection in September 2025. She also authored Marvel Comic’s TVA: For All Time, Always comic run and worked as a writer for Disney Imagineering to help shape Disney’s new Villain’s park at Magic Kingdom. Her next YA novel, The Last Love Story— a post-apocalyptic tale about a girl whose forbidden fan-fiction accidentally starts a revolution — is coming out from HarperCollins in Summer 2026.
